Join us as we welcome the veterans home from Honor Flight Mission 91 at the Rochester Airport. Families are encouraged to come in and join the festivities!
Follow signs and Honor Flight volunteers to park in the parking garage. Bring your ticket inside to be validated for free parking.
We will meet at the new Veterans lounge at the far end of the Lower Level/Arrivals Terminal. (Far right door of the lower level when approaching from the street.)
October Drill

Stay tuned for the details of another exciting joint training with Buffalo in October!
We will be returning to Genesee County Park at the Interpretive Center to assist the Park with the Acorns Race.
Saturday morning we will help with race set up and other projects around the park. PRT will be completed Saturday afternoon.
The Joint Training Contingency will embark on a night mission after the park closes Saturday night.
Sunday we will assist along the race route and pitch in to tear down after the race.
TENTATIVE: Color Guard at Navy Birthday Ball

TENTATIVE: Veteran's Home Visit
The residents at the New York State Veteran’s Home in Batavia look forward to visits from the Sea Cadets throughout the year! At this visit we will deliver Veteran’s Day cards as we visit room to room.
We will depart from the NRC immediately following drill. We will carpool participating cadets to Batavia. Cadets can be picked up at the Veteran’s Home in Batavia, or receive a ride back to the Chili area for pick-up (limited seats).
TENTATIVE: East Rochester Veteran's Day Parade
Color Guard commitment needed.
Our division has traditionally participated in this short but meaningful march and ceremony to honor veterans on Veteran’s Day.

Our division has traditionally participated in this short but meaningful march and ceremony to honor those who died in service, and because of their service. The ceremony culminates with the cadets assisting with placing poppies at the Station of Heroes in Edmund Lyon Park.
